View Dr Berg's videos before making the choice to have your gallbladder removed. It's unconscionably that any doctor should recommend or perform this surgery without telling you the role of the gallbladder, the impact on fat soluble vitamin absorption (dramatically impacting vision among other things), the fact that it can encourage/cause fatty liver, which can/will lead to weight gain, diabetes, heart issues and stroke. No organ is useless. Any doctor who tells you that the loss of an organ is not a big deal is someone you should run from.

Had my gallbladder removed 8 days ago. My doctor said I could eat anything i wanted to after the first two days. I started eating normally after 7 days with no issues.

Iv had my gall bladder taken out9years and still get diarrhoea in the mornings after certain foods as some as eat breakfast about twenty minutes when went in goes straight through me it’s no life

I was told the same garbage about diet but I had no choice. It saved my life to have emergency gallbladder removal surgery because I had already been misdiagnosed for years.i didn't know it. Every time I went in about back pain because i had been hit by so many cars I was given muscle relaxants sebt homw & that was it. Well it was actually my gallbladder. I was full of gangrene when I entered an emergency room on vacation in Utah near death. They saved my life.

When I was a mere 13 years old it involved a 28 stitch incision and a week (I think...a long time ago) in hospital but I've eaten whatever I've wanted since.

Dont remove your GB please. This is the worst mistake you can do. I'm a doctor but sadly a general doctor who was a victim of a surgeon.
