There have been some headlines in the news recently discussing the potential pitfalls of a strictly vegetarian diet. Being someone who usually avoids meat myself, I think it’s important to clear up any misconceptions. Becoming a vegetarian is a major lifestyle decision. Anyone considering it should be aware of what they’re getting into.

8 years ago I was a vegetarian for a year, it was the most amazing year of my life in terms of health and condition, more energy, better mental performance, minor digestive problems gone, sleep improved, my mood was always sky high and my immune system had a bulletproof vest.. then i fell back into bad eating habits and it all started again.
so I decided... in 2023 I will start my vegetarian journey again but whoever wants to start must do it wisely and implement all the necessary nutrients, vegetables, cereals, fruit, nuts and derivatives etc.. I guarantee you that it is really worth it, so you have to try to believe. 💪

It has been 9 years that I am a vegetarian, I never had any mineral or vitamin deficiency. But i have visited some doctors and nutritionists to make sure I was eating everything right. That's what I recommend to anyone who plans to go vegetarian. I have no regrets, but i keep reading and studying basics of nutrition ever since.

So many people around here in India are vegetarian including some world class athletes like 2 times Olympic medalist in wrestling Sushil Kumar. And trust me there is no chance of nutrition deficiency if one eats healthy vegetarian food.

Soy (tofu, soy milk, edamame etc.), potatoes, quinoa, spinach, broccoli and sprouted lentils, buckwheat and kale have all nine amino acids (complete protein). I don't know if I missed any tho.

I can't go full vegetarian.
But, i have decided to eat less animal meat.

I will still eat egg and milk.
And all types of veges.

But i will just eat meat once or twice a year.

I don't know if thats gonna have negative effect on my body.

Why would you need to talk to a doctor before being vegan. But dont have to if you eat cheeseburgers? Why would he tell you to have a rich soy diet?

Every vegan and vegetarian should take at least every second day early in the morning on an empty stomach 1 tablespoon (15 ml) castor oil in order to prevent an intestinal blockage, for in the case that you will eat a lot of fruits or vegetables your large intestine will be really filled and you will remark this one occasionally unpleasant, this especially during the night. In this case it will be very helpfull to take your dosage castor oil in good time.

We’ve never had consistent meat diets before. This is a new thing and we’re seeing the effects. It’s more of a once in a while thing

I have struggled with obesity all of my life, and due to PTSD and being overly stimulated easily, i used food as a crutch to help calm myself down. When i got into a calmer environment, i also got off of drugs and alcohol but still had binge eating and food addiction. I have tried vegetarianism as well as vegan on and off since i was in my 20s, and now im 35. At this point i definitely want a change in my life and want to fit better in my clothes and not have to buy XXXL clothes anymore. Plus, i want to move better and feel less fat on my body. I want a better me, so im fighting to incorporate this lifestyle into my life instead of relying on junk and fast food to comfort me.
