Try to bring more power like a muathay round house kick.

Karate and taekwondo kicks look good with snaps but lag power and force.
Chopping leg kicks and body head kicks are more efficient with thai kickboxing because they mainly connect your opponent with shin
Which is like hitting with a baseball bat
