In this video, Keith Barker will cover how to initially configure and manage Palo Alto’s next-generation firewall. He’ll also discuss the management interface, security zones, virtual routers, NAT/PAT, and tags, as well as other key concepts. This information will be useful if you’re studying for various Palo Alto-related certifications.

If you’re getting ready to take the ACE, PCNSA, PCNSE, or virtually another Palo Alto-related certification exam, you’ll find the information in this video very useful.

Keith will reinforce lessons about creating and configuring zones, virtual routers, and level 3 interfaces, then transition to configuring and managing Palo Alto’s next-generation firewall.

You’ll begin by creating three zones: inside, DMZ, and outside. The next step is to configure the IP addresses on those respective interfaces, then associate them with the correct security zone.

Keith demonstrates each step, starting with logging onto the Palo Alto management interface and progressing through every stage as he explains what you need to know.

Keith, love the content. I thought maybe on this video I was going to get a little info that might help me. I am working on a IPSEC VPN, and i am unclear to which of my current VR I should link the VPN. if to the external, or my internal.
