Показать описание

In this video, Keith Barker covers the benefits of Active/Active failover on Cisco ASA firewalls within a system that has firewall redundancy. He also discusses how you can use failover groups to accomplish this. Finally, he describes how you can verify and change the failover status of a firewall at the command line.

After watching this video, you will know what Active/Active failover is and how you can use it on Cisco ASA firewalls. This allows for load sharing of your firewalls instead of the standard Active/Standby setup. Keith shows you how you can set this up by first creating failover groups and then assigning them to physical firewalls before associating these groups with virtual firewall contexts. He further shows you how you can check to see if this is working by using the firewall’s console. Finally, he shows you how you can change the firewall assignments at the command line.
