Getting tied to her emotions is so true. Instead, worry about your quality of life & the circle of people in your life. Be the mountain, but look at people's actions that are in your life. Ask yourself, are they an engine or an anker? Point being, don't always have to be a mountain for ankers in your life. All we can do is try to create a life of peace. Look at the actions of those as the quality of air that's blowing around the mountain, which is you.

I'm trying this now with someone I like. I was nervous when we first met and the circumstances were weird and she didn't want to continue but maybe it felt weird for her too. But now that we've met, it gave me a chance to reset myself and our relationship, so when I see her I'm more relaxed and I'm more confident and I've done the no contact and the mirroring and will continue to experiment with these strategies. I'm staying with her because she's not pursuing other men. I think she's shy and hasn't dated for a long time and is nervous.. She definitely worth pursuing....until I find someone a little more cooperative.

I'm at a point where I don't accept them back. Lord only knows what she was doing the time you were apart. Most of them try to weasel their way back in but nah, it aint happening. Move on fellas. Don't put your life on pause waiting for a chick to come back. They're are plenty good women to be hang up on one.
