There's a guy, Gary O'Neil. He's a military man, served in damn near ever job the military offers him. He's been shot, stabbed, beaten, and tourtured. He says to dismiss pain you have to move your mind somewhere else and learn to slow your heart rate down. When he taught his class he got an ice pick. Put it through his fucking neck then on top of that he got a 10 gallon bucket of water and put the handle of the bucket on the pick and picked it up. If you're interested in his story he has a book called "The American Worrior". Best book I've read I highly recommend it.

This is such a great video that I want to like so much but have to give a thumbs down because it misinforms the public by teaching children that a "pain signal" tells the brain that there is pain. Science has shown that there is no such thing as a "pain signal" and this video would be much more accurate if it used a more correct statement such as "danger signal." I would love to re-edit and re-post this video to show children a more modern version.
