Stretches for Wrist Pain

A lot of people recently seem to have hurt their wrists. Or maybe I'm just hearing about it more.

When they ask for stretches, I basically tell them this.

Keep in mind, that this may work for grade 1 sprains, but more serious injuries (like ligament tears) will almost certainly require some form of medical attention.

Wrist injuries are the worst, I'm definitely guilty of the "my wrist hurts, but I'm gonna keep doing handstands" approach. Taking a few days and then stretching and strengthening is what actually works, though, imagine that. Those rotational stretches are awesome, thank you for this.

Basically, this in addition to massage and grip strength activities was what my physical therapist recommend when I got a super bad forearm/wrist injury. You can even do some wrists and hand exercises with one hand while you hold your phone scrolling YouTube with the other!

Obviously everyone is gonna be different, but this is solid!

Thank you for this simple, easy to follow, warm and encouraging video. My wrists have been painful and stiff since increasing the frequency of my yoga practice, and admittedly my social media use. I'm taking a break from the latter, but I'm still subscribed to your videos. :)

My wrist pains, not due to exercise, but due to exams, especially Biology and Economics, as they expect a lot to be written in under half the appropriate time...

I just want to thank you! I injured my right wrist at the gym and couldn't rotate or put weight on them. I used this video as reference everyday for 2 straight weeks (and got plenty of rest) and it's now completely healed! Again, TYSM! <3

Im assuming a bunch of us here were just watching you. Im just starting my journey and for the first time in my life i have focus on my strength and ability as a human rather than my weight solely due to all the videos i have watch of you this month.



Also got to go back into a full swimm session which until now has been the only time i felt skilled in an activity even with asthma and not swimming for 2 years istill did the mile swim i could do befor my baby. That, along with your videos, has inspired me. I hope to come back to the channel in half a year on each video saying 'darn tootin you son of gun you were right i Can do ....' hahahhaa.

This here completely set my minor tfcc wrist back in action.. I’m so grateful for this simple exercise…. I’ve tried everything from wrist braces to every advice under the rock.. all I needed was the release of inflammation facilitated by this thanks
