that’s how i learned that i’m lactose intolerant (i looove cheesy stuff😭) but there are many alternatives that don’t even taste bad.

It took me years to realize and accept that i have a carb intolerance. Im picky on vegetables and OF COURSE the ones i liked are all carb heavy. Im kind of still incredulous that carbs have been my problem this entire time.

Eggs make me bloat and it took me 30+ years to discover I have an intolerance to them. I miss such an easy protein :'(

Only thing I would add is that eliminating trigger foods is only step two! Ideally, (especially if it’s healthy, Whole Foods) you slowly work to reintroduce these things into your diet to continue diversifying the bacteria in your gut. 30 different plants/week has been shown to yield the best long-term health outcomes (The American Gut Project).

Yeaah, I learned that not so long ago. I'm allergic to eggs, but I thought for ±12 years that I just can't cook it properly. sure, past me, sure.
