Thanks buzzfeed. When my girlfriend asked me to help take care of our baby, I said no.

When I was in a very bad place in life, I entirely stopped caring about pleasing people, so I got really good at saying, "No". It's a great skill that I'm thankful I have now.

I've also had difficulty saying No at times. For me, I felt like I had to answer straight away. So I definitely think it's important to remember to take your time when answering or making decisions

I am such a people-pleaser, and I needed this.

Plus lots of people really only want your help if it's happily given. I wouldn't hesitate to ask for something from someone who I trusted to set healthy boundaries, but If I knew that somebody didn't know how to say no, I just wouldn't be so comfortable asking them for help.

This is exactly my problem. I end up not finishing my work on time because people won't stop asking me for help and I just can't say no...

Sometimes you have to preserve yourself so that that things which matter most get the best version of yourself.

00:50 I like what everyone said, but I think Garrett gave the most solid advice.

Saying 'no' is strengthening your boundaries. It's essential for a happy life. It's not about the other person... It's about you

Buzzfeed, I have a question! A little back story first; the relationship between me and my boyfriend has been strained lately due to conflicting work schedules and some struggles with the ex/baby momma. I have been taking medication for a while now to help deal with depression, anxiety, and ADHD. This medication completely and utterly destroys my sex drive. My boyfriend has mentioned he really wants us to have a nice day together soon and have some "stress relief". I'm still, of course, super attracted to him, but because of my meds I just can't get in the mood. I don't want to make him feel rejected and unattractive, but if I fake it I know it won't feel right and that will just push me further away from him. I've tried to temporarily stop taking my meds, but that's was disastrous. What do I do? How can I explain things in a way that doesn't sound like I'm just trying to make an excuse? I'm sorry to unload on you, Buzzfeed; I really don't have anyone else to talk to.
