I love how parents don't care about our mental health, only our grades and or how we do in school. Please put your mental health first before anything 🙏

My mental health used to be so bad. Bad sleep cycle, super bad habits, low self-esteem, self criticizing because of every little mistake... I was a wreck. I still kind of feel like a wreck in some areas, but I definitely see improvementz in my mentality. I'm proud of my progress, and you helped me a lot, Psych2go. Thanks for the video!

“The advice I’d give to somebody that’s silently struggling is, you don’t have to live that way. You don’t have to struggle in silence. You can be un-silent. You can live well with a mental health condition, as long as you open up to somebody about it, because it’s really important you share your experience with people so that you can get the help that you need.” — Demi Lovato

Sounds like what I’m going through. Kept things bottled in for too long. Can barely sleep and feeling anxious all the time. Had a panic attack/breakdown and finally realized I need HELP. Reached out to a therapist and hope to get my anxiety under control.

I used to be guilty of number 8. I used to come down on myself and beat myself up over mistakes I made or even for things that happened that were out of my control. I've learned to acknowledge my mistakes and take corrective action, rather than dwell on my mistakes. I also used to use tobacco and alcohol as a crutch when I was feeling depressed. I've learned to take better care of myself both mentally and physically. I'm not where I was 4 years ago.

i used to be so insecure. i used to hate everything about myself and my social health was terrible since i have social anxiety and autism (which made it harder). i also was very depressed and i cried myself to sleep every night because of how embarrassed i was of myself. at that time i also didn’t have many good friends so i was kinda lonely as well. now i’m doing better! i’m not 100% but i’m better. i’m not getting bullied anymore and i moved to a new school last year where i met some amazing people that played a good role in my life :) i found myself pouring my insecurities onto them, however, and that almost destroyed my friendship with some of them! but they stayed by my side because they are true friends and they knew deep down that there was something wrong with me and that i was broken. like i said earlier, now i’m doing much better. i started journaling about my feeling and sometimes i vent to my friends & family if i really need it but not all the time since i don’t wanna drain them lol 😂 ever since the day i started self-consciously looking in the mirror twice a day and saying to myself that i look great and beautiful, i’ve been doing SO much better! again, i’m not 100% but i’m getting better :D i could say a lot more but it’s already long enough haha 😂 my advice for y’all if your mental health is bad is to do what i did and look yourself in the mirror, block out the negative thoughts and say to yourself positive things about yourself! positive mindset=positive you :D ik it isn’t easy (for me it happened naturally) but trust me it helps😄✨

The start of 2020 I started neglecting my mental health, at first I thought it was just a phase and that I would get over it but as time progressed I felt less and less useful, neglecting my studies, loosing interest in my hobbies, having a bad sleeping pattern and consuming narcotics such as alcohol to lessen the pain and help me to forget about the issues that where troubling me at the time.

This channel has helped me seek and find a psychietrist, where progress has been made but the routine that was built in the time of selfdistruction still effects my life today.

Thank you all for being open about mental health 😍

i've been neglecting my mental health for long. Ignoring all the problems, and honestly, i dont even know how to fix them anymore.

This is really helping me with my mental health! Thank you, I did really need to know if I was healthy!

Honestly a very well done video and I love that you help so many people. You almost try to let people know that they are themself, while keeping up YOUR health. You are a awesome YouTuber.

I’d say I’m neglecting mine. It also doesn’t help I keep all of it to myself.
