As a black guy...I can't be sprinting anywhere but a track 😅 I remember one time I ran home after dinner at Chilis (maybe two or three blocks from my home). I got stopped by the police. Cop tries to play it off and give me his card.

Regular sprinting will reduce your Resting Heart Rate which is a big deal if you're looking to improve your cardiac capacity

I think it’s important on the physique point to note most sprinters also lift weights, and do a tonne of plyometrics. They also naturally have more type 2 muscle fibres which will give them more muscle density. Sprinting is awesome but lift weights too if you want that physique

Your muscles become more visible, your heart and lungs will be so much healthier, your breathing becomes easier, it gets your muscles heated which is better for resistance training (lifting), you can reverse (some) damage from smoking and vaping, and best of all you get a sweet sweet runners high afterward. Once you get used to the unbearable pain of your lungs desperately clawing for extra oxygen to send to your entire body lmao a runner's high is one of the best things out there.
