In this video, I review the BEST fitness app for weightlifting. I've been using Fitbod for years to build up my fitness and strength. It's a smart fitness app that uses it's algorithm to help you build muscle and lose fat by taking into account your gym equipment, fitness goals, training experience, workout duration, and much more. It also provides bodyweight only workouts and is great for helping you track your weightlifting workouts.

Just got this app. As a beginner with zero experience in lifting weights, it’s amazing.

Fitbod is great only if you either go to a gym or have a full gym at home. It worked great for me for 2 years, and then when I started workout out at home with only a set of dumbbells, the app just collapsed. It never suggested dumbbell workouts for my chest. It would seriously suggest doing push-ups on my knees instead of chest press.

Really enjoyed the overall teaching of the app. I came across it by accident and want a way to do my program without carrying paper and pen with me. Now it’s just a matter of of putting it all together! Thanks

Just got into this app because I wanted to start holding myself accountable and vary what I do in the gym more rather than just doing bench, squat, and other main lifts. I like being recommended entire workouts and this app does that better than any other I’ve been looking for!

Does it automatically include progressive overloading through increasing reps or sets, or decreasing rest time?

The only thing I wish it had was to create my own exercises for things they don’t have

Is this a good app for logging drop sets, supersets, and compound sets? Most of my workouts are comprised 90% of these and I have not found an app conducive to logging these types of workouts yet. Thanks!
