A cool thing to note that i can say from experience is getting strong at the chin up specifically will easily unlock you a back lever with a chin up grip. So a reverse grip back lever.

For me I’ve noticed that the strain and tension when holding this reverse back lever is really concentrated on my bicep and since that’s a strong point for me, i got this movement hella easily.

I wanna see how you fw the reverse grip back levers and how easy they are for you because you’ve been focused on chins recently and have gotten hella strong

Been doing weighted pull up for a year and I realized that my upper back developed more than my lats. So im going to switch to chin up for more lats and biceps activation

I do both but I prefer Weighted Chinups over Weighted Pullups. I tend to get more reps and my chin higher over bar. When I do Weighted Chinups than Weighted Pullups.

I do weighted chin ups for arm day, and weighted pullups for back day.. (just started doing behind the neck pullups instead of regular pullups, and feel even more back pump then before)

here me out guys. i think chin ups are better than pull ups because chin ups activates the biceps and back effectively. pull ups just do back effectively aswell. when you can’t do pull ups, you do chin ups so youll be able to do pull ups. so if chin ups helps you be able to do pull ups, shouldn’t we be praising the chin ups more? 🤔 and im not talking about the close grip chin ups, im talking about the wide grip chin ups, the same way we do our pull ups. (Anyways if im wrong then comment under) Good video you’ve earned a sub 👌🏾

Love them both, but currently only able to do pullups. I have golphers elbow in my left forearm and it feels terrible when doing chin-ups. No issues at all with pullups tho. I need to try neutral grip pullups to see if its good or not. Keep the great content coming bro!

Chin ups were hella easier for me at start of my journey so I jus have it in my head that pull ups are better for you but lookin forward to hear this video tho💯

nice and very interesting video bro, I will say tho, although you're right ab chin-up being better for carrying over to curls, pullups can really help with barbell rows, which i'd assume more weightlifters do more than curls, hence making that a direct transition as well

I personally do both, pull-ups hit the forearms and brachialis muscle on the bicep better than chin ups, while chin ups hit the bicep better and upper traps. Since I only do bodyweight I throw in an inverted row to target back thickness while the pull-ups hit the width.
