Homemade Butter

You might think of butter as something that doesn't necessarily get better homemade (i.e., easier to get some at the store and call it a day), but you'd be terribly wrong. It's three times as good made at home, and it's also one of the easiest recipes you could ever have. If you've made whipped cream, you can make butter...it just requires a few more minutes of blending. Recipe below!

Ingredients
2 cups heavy cream
pinch of salt

1. Pour cream into a food processor or blender. Process for 10 minutes, or until the butter separates.
2. Strain off the liquid and continue pressing out butter with a wooden spoon until all liquid is gone. Season, shape into a brick or roll, and enjoy.

I love how all of these chefs on my feed have their own thing. This guy throws his knife onto his cutting board, another guy slaps his fridge, and another slaps his meat.

Made this sooo often already and it's really cool! Usually I chose like... A bottle and just shake it like I shake my hair dye. Then I try to get the molk out of it, put things like certain spices or I don't know what it's called in English... We sometimes put Bärlauch, a plant we collect in the forest, into our butter. It's seasonal though, sadly.
