Rinse the butter inside a cheesecloth in a bowl of very cold water. Remove as much buttermilk as possible from your butter. If you don't, your butter will not keep very well. We used to make our own butter at the restaurant. Not a criticism, just a helpful tip👍👍

Just scored 9 containers of Heavy Whipping Cream for .99 cents each. Time to make butter. Thanks for the video and make sure you squeeze out the buttermilk real good and rinse under clean ice water to keep butter longer and don’t forget to add the Celtic sea salt and the roasted garlic. Mmmm.

I used about a quart of heavy cream. First started off using my hand mixer for a few minutes, then switched to my stand mixer just until it thickened. I switched back to the hand mixer until it was ready. Took the mixture to a reusable cheesecloth and squeezed out a lot of liquid. It's delicious according to my boyfriend.

Just to share my quick story. I wanted to make Lactose free butter for my wife. It worked . I added Lactase pills into the same heavy whipping cream overnight . I started with a stand mixer for 25 minutes. Nothing, then went to a food processor, within 10 minutes, Lactose free butter and buttermilk.

Do you consider that salted butter or unsalted . If it’s unsalted then how much salt do I put in it to make it salted butter?

Thank you so much for this video! It turned out perfect! Do they have butter molds on Amazon you could put the butter in? That would make a pretty presentation. Why is butter so expensive? I mean did they run out of cows!!

I just looked at the ingredients of this particular cream. I was shocked that it had gellan gum in it as a thickener. It must still work but I’d look for just a one Ingredient organic cream.
