I was so addicted to sugar it was like a drug addiction, quitting cold turkey was the best option for me.I'm on day 6 of no sugar, I have light headaches, little dizziness. Cravings come and go but determined to continue.

I quit all sugar that isn’t natural, such as the sugar you get from fruits, roughly 4 years ago because of bad anxiety. The hardest part is finding ingredients that don’t have sugar in them. Like before quitting, I thought it was just candy, and sodas. Boy was I wrong. Bread, sauces, and so much more. Bottom line is, I experience zero anxiety, even when I should. My body feels amazing. My brain feels like I’m 13 years old again. Clear of any fog. Im 31. I weighed 210 pounds. 2 weeks into quitting, even without working out because of how lazy I felt from quitting, I lost 10 pounds. When the cravings and addictive part goes away, you almost feel like a cancer patient who is no longer sick.

I’m on day 5 and the worst part for me so far is the disruption in sleep and the aches and pains I get only at night usually. I’m sticking to it though bc I know it’s going to be worth it in the long run. The cravings haven’t been bad at all either. I’m doing the carnivore diet

Day 7 and I’ve been dizzy for days, and now I’m also feeling headache and body ache, still dealing with bloating and gas from my bad diet before. It’s rough, but I’m in it until I get to the other side.

Started the Daniel fast and the first day. I ran 8 miles and rode my bike two miles. I was having really bad day. I woke during the night with chills and couldn’t keep warm. Day three right now I feel better. Not has dizzy or cold. 11 more days to go!

Cigarettes, drinking, drugs, sugar, ....they are all the same. I’ve quit them all. The mental cravings will last longer than the physical ones, so be prepared. Stress, anxiety and other triggers are waiting. Learn to immediately identify the feeling then have a plan for what you will do when the craving hits. Go for a walk or exercise, call a friend. Don’t make excuses...stick to your plan!

4th day without sugar and simple carb (rice, bread, noodle etc)
Day 1-3 was the worst. I felt like I could pass out anytime, weak, groggy, hungry, looking at my daughter's hash browns and my husband banana muffin, I was drooling 😅
I started to eat more sugary food since my daughter's born (2016).. and oct 11 2021 I got the result for my blood test, saying that I'm in prediabetes zone.
I never even knew I let myself into this. But I'm glad at least I knew before it's too late.
I lost 6lbs in 3 days. No sugar no simple carb, eat more vegetables, fruits and drink a lot of water.
