If you have ever had the displeasure of working in a call center/customer service role, you probably get this. The level of entitlement from some customers is mind boggling. But it pales in comparison to how often you have to explain very simple things to people that are determined to misunderstand you anyway. No, the customer is not always right. Can you relate? Do you have any work horror stories?

My Dougie Rew tiktok is mostly considered positive, motivational and inspirational. I try to bring joy and light into the lives of those that deal with depression, sex & identity issues, people with trauma and lots more. Mostly I hope to reach those that are looking for a friend. Had someone call in so upset and he wanted to know “why” he missed his loan payment….. 😂 I was like I’d be happy to look at your account today and see why you missed a payment….. 😂 Then I said, well it looks like I do not have access to why you missed that payment, I’ll have a manger call you back and let you know why you missed your payment 🙃 He was like “thanks! I’d really appreciate that”

I work in a medical call center, setting appointments, and i always tell everyone the story where a lady called and told me she wants a gynecologist all for herself, because we can't provide appointments fast enough

Bless her soul, i really wanted to say "oh yes i apologize, i will redirect the call to the department of gynecologist cage keeping!"

I work at phone service operator call centre and when they want to speak to the manager for the management to know they are dissapointed with the company's services [not the operator (that happens often)] and I know the manager won't do a shit I just say, ,All calls are being monitored and listened to by our service quality checking department, your message will be 100% heard!" Helps to get them off the phone 😆🤣

In our country it's a high paying job for both degree, non-degree holders (at least you graduated high school or a college drop out) and those who still have no license for specific jobs like nursing, accounting, teaching, engineering, architecture, physical therapy, and more.

“I’ve been a loyal customer for x years” in most cases I’ll just give the refund, but if you come to me with attitude and disrespect then “sorry ma’am, there’s nothing we can do for you today.” 😂

Late fees are scams, why not the other way around if you your suppose to be paid by Friday and receive it by Monday do we get a late fee reward also.

Yesterday i had a call for an refund on a reservation that was pay on the counter, the user never showed up so he was never charged, he called to cancell and get a refund, the refund was 0 since he was never charged, i spent 5 minutes trying to explain that to him, dude demanded to talk to my sup cause he insisted he wanted a refund on a service he never paid for.

I had a customer genuinely ask if they could pay online with cash... He was so serious... I wanted to be like yeah just shove it in the CD slot and I'll process it through ✨ Magic
