Running increases heart stroke volume and increases capillary density more than walking does so running is better in that regard. For fat loss though I would say walking is better though. You tap into fat loss a lot better with walking.

Walking, Before my grandma past on, she past on two things Cooking, and Walking!She would walk late at night, when i was very young to 20s.But these days isnt safe anymore to walk past 9pm due violence and people driving careless in this world.

Have u ever heard a phrase less is more? Yes walking in long run will benefit our entire body organs unlike jogging.just look at all marathon runners .sprint may look good but in long run will damage our body too.

Although the therapeutic aspects of walking cannot be overstated.

I cant run now im 60 and my knee hurts and even walki g i get heel and toe pain but grit my teeth and carry on

Running will not help on losing weight or burn fat due to lack of oxygen rather consume glucose from the body .. fat consumption needs oxygen with moderate physical activity reason walking is more effective, it is not true that this exercise takes longer than running .. this is the wrong concept from medical standpoint.

Running Is More fun. And I dont want to spend an hour just walking. I rather run for 20mins

I need to start walking more often and get into a habit. I have walked from and to walmart a couple of times where I would have driven, just to get a feel for it.

Walking is no where similar to jogging in term of cardiovascular improvement. Jogging improves your lungs and heart way better. Not comparable at all. It's like comparing sprinting to jogging. Walking for has in common with sitting than jogging
