Great tips! Another way to boost, that I like, is to use channels on the output block. I run channel B with 3 db added to level and attach channel A B toggle to a footswitch. The reason I prefer this is that output 2 goes to my in ear monitor. That way I can boost my foh signal (output 1) without boosting my monitor signal(output 2).

Enjoyed this video Cooper, a video on EQ tips would be good too - I know it can be a complicated subject, but a few basics following on from this video about cutting or boosting certain frequencies when you're wanting to cut through showcasing the abilities in the Fractal units would be interesting

I use a filter block in fromt of the amp block and change the type to peak and bump up the mids a bit as well as the overall level

I've been using a series Delay with the volume set to +3 to boost since I got into fractal and it's been an easy solution since I use delay on all of my leads \m/ I'll also use a Scene controller to bump the mids a tad :D

Awesome tips Cooper! I'd go for the easiest way IMO which is to set the boost on the preamp section of the Amp block. Many types of boost to choose from at the db amount of your taste.

Agree PEQ, but I use GEQ as well - boost the volume and can adjust the tone a bit at the same time

Many thanks for these explanations. I have a question : what about the Boost Input in Amp Block ?
How I can have a switch on my FC6 (on Effects layout) dedicated for the Input Boost of the Amp Block ?
Can you do a video to show and explain this ?

hi there is it possible to program global boost switch on off with level up few decibil that will work for every preset without inserting filter in each preset i was able to do that with axe fx 2 and mfc 101 ? thanx
