I had a limited anxious childhood, and there's so much God blessed me with but I'm a nervous mess, really. So much I need to try, potential to unlock still, after a very rough but blessed year. 19 year old guy here. Dating is hard for my generation, especially if you are one who wants to live the devout Christian life of asceticism and faith. The world deems the avoidance of carnal pleasures and desires (partying, hooking up, gossiping, drinking, etc) as boring. So finding a woman my age who questions this secular paradigm at the very least is seemingly impossible.

I got married at 19, by husband was 18. We had our first child at 22, in many ways we grew up together. Almost 24 years later, of all the things I have done in life, I consider getting married and starting a family the best decision I ever made. I have made many mistakes, but that was not one of them!

I was always friends with this woman i am dating and I brought it up that I want to get married to my parents and they told me to wait and not jump into marriage so quickly. I feel so intensely about this woman and she does the same with me. Although she is indecisive about her faith I pray and have faith in god to bless our relationship and marriage. Then I saw this video and made the decision to boldly continue with my marriage plans.
