Absolutely agree. Saw this recently I think in Dr Mike RP videos somewhere and tried it. Felt it next couple of days, and the weight i used was nothing crazy, 12.5kg dumbells

Going in stretch position is the top tier training for muscle hypertrophy.
Keep in mind to start with light weights, keep your tendons safe and healthy.

Yes these actually work! Curls with the cables or resistance bands are also good!

Try the Positions of Flexion routine. Do 1-3 sets of curls with your chest on the incline bench. You can use a lot of weight and it hits the muscles in the contracted position. Then do 1-3 sets of standing or concentration curls. That hits the muscles in the midrange position. Finish with the incline curls.

This works for all muscle groups. Pick an exercise for contracted, then midrange, then stretch. Also, superset by working the opposing muscle groups in your next exercise; after biceps do triceps, after chest do back, after quads do hamstrings, etc.

В нижней части упражнения слишком большая нагрузка для сухожилий, но недостаточная в среднем и конечном положении руки. Тем более он использует подем дельтовидными мышцами в верхней части. Вряд это хорошо поможет.

Great video i always forget about the concentration curl and do the former i.e. instead of your back on the bench its your chest and you're curling do a video on this please would be awesome hoping you understand me 😂 its a great bicep curl along with the gymnast bicep routines of curling with straight arms crazy tension. I'll defo go back to doing both methods

Great video. I have a question though coz it’s been a while since I did these…do you do either these OR the standing dumbbell curls…or do you do these AND the dumbbell curls?

So I'm going to be that guy. How often (when it comes to actual function) do you lift something with your biceps behind your back. Yes, I agree it puts a different strain on them, but from a functional standpoint, how does that help you in normal day-to-day activities?

Okay, this is great for the long head of the biceps. Your biceps have two muscles, so you need one more exercise for the short head

i cannot curl both dumbells properly in good form. am i using too much weight ? whats the ideal sets/rep range for this ?

What angle would you recommend? My cheap old bench has 30 and 50 degrees and that's it.
