We continue examining Tommy McMurtry's opposition to Total Depravity by looking into the concept of Original Sin. This is one of the areas that goes beyond disagreeing on the finer points and exposes the anti-Christian, heretical core of the New IFB.

How can Pastor McMurtry say he doesn't know much or hasn't heard much, about the Calvinist view of original sin; and then turn around and try to explain Total Depravity? That's like saying, "I don't know very much about tires, but I am going to explain how a car works."

1Corinthians 15:50-58
50I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.51Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,  52in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.
