I would like to hear Mr. McMurtry tell us what the Greek word for "Whosoever" is. That would be something to hear, especially since he places so much emphasis on that single word in his rant against Unconditional Election. It would be interesting because there is no Greek word for "whosoever." In Greek, John 3:16 does not say "whosoever, " but rather it says, "those who are believing."

A salavation to _whoever believes_ as McNutty iterates it means salvation is still contingent upon the works of men; conversely, salavtion is closed to all those dying faithless. No matter how they desire to slice their synergism, the fact is inescapable Revelation 22.17 says that, first, the Spirit & the bride must call. Furthermore, _they that are athirst_ demands these be the utterly sinners who can see their need of Jesus' righteousness, as well as that third, only all of those may drink of the fountain of the water of life freely. Particular Baptist Hanserd Knollys, signer of both the First (1644, revised & enlarged in 1646) as well as (finalized in1677, published in 1689) Second London Baptist Confessions, says the following on it -- _Revelation __22:17__ And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. By the bride here, we are to understand the new Jerusalem, who shall come down from heaven as a bride adorned for her husband, Revelation 19:7-8; Revelation 21:2-10 the church of God, and the holy spirit of God, and all converted persons do invite all sorts of sinners, especially, thirsty sinners, without exception against any persons, that are willing, and without any price, to take Christ freely. { Isaiah 55:1-3}._

_XXII.
Faith is the gift of God, wrought in the hearts of the elect by the Spirit of God; by which faith they come to know and believe the truth of the Scriptures, and the excellency of them above all other writings, and all things in the world, as they hold forth the glory of God in His attributes, the execellency of Christ in His nature and offices, and of the power and fulness of the Spirit in its [His] workings and operations; and so are enabled to cast their souls upon His truth thus believed. Eph. 2:8; John __6:29__, __4:10__; Phil. __1:29__; Gal. __5:22__; John __17:17__; Heb. __4:11__, 12; John 6:63., _ 1644 First London Baptist Confession.

Literally, all _so_ means is _in this manner, , - not that the omnibenevolent Deity loved everyone yet damns most to Topeth.
