this one seems to work out quite well against terminid!

Correction: i used the orbital precision strike rather than 500kg. Although, both will do the same, since theres no other eagles the 500kg will have the cooldown for itself and wont have to share

The first person view for aiming being the default has happened to me too. I believe that it is a bug that needs to be fixed.

the bar in the bottom left corner of the HUD when equipped with the larvae backpack is a health bar. the larvae container gets destroyed and the side objective fails when the health bar empties, and I know this because a friend and I shot it because we were trying to find out what the bar meant. We decided to empty it to see what would happen, and the objective simply fails.

i’ve been running the cookout to take care of everything and the shotgun sidearm to take care of the alpha broods. it one shots to the head if you fire all barrels. a little bit annoying if you have a lot of them pile up, but 1 alpha brood for a two second reload feels really good and consistent.

I’ve been using the railgun against the alpha commanders and it’s been pretty consistent at one shotting them. Best part is that you can still bring a shield backpack so you’re tankier than an autocannon build

Cookout has terrible durable damage, so it won't do well against Alpha Commanders head, charger booty, and Impalers face. Alpha commanders I believe are a faster kill time if you shoot them in the chest, let the fire dot do work, and come back to it shooting in the chest after a few seconds (when fire dot falls off).

Cookout is good at dealing with everything, because it stun locks anything smaller than a charger

3:00 - It was in the patch notes that all guns were supposed to remember your last setting and retain that. But it seems to have had the opposite effect.

Even if you respawn, your gun will default to ADS.

The ADS issue is not a permanent bug, although you will need to go into settings and make appropriate changes. I had the same issue and since making adjustments it has stayed fixed.

Esc<options<gameplay<Dynamic Aim Mode (set to NO)

This only works while the "Aim Trigger" type is set to "Hold" and not when using a controller

Oh and the thing you mentioned Takibo for the First Person View each time you spawn, it's a bug(not the ones you kill xD). Me and friends have the same prob. Another issue I currently have with the latest patch are the random crashes. I can play for 10 hours straight, no prob, and today I had 3 combo crashes in 3 missions I join...

The bar next to the larvae is its health bar. The other bugs will attack it and it will break and you will fail the mission.

I like that your D10 strategy for bugs is what most people have been doing for months on D9 anyway lol. I guess AH even got you this patch.

Cookout, grenade launcher and supply pack is reallllyy good right now napalm and rocket pods have you covered.

Takes like 3-4 grenades to blow up a charged butt and a Rocket pod will crack the bile titan shell allowing you to kill it with the GL .

Very very reliable

The tenderizer feels pretty good for alpha commanders but also good for chaff clear if used in burst mode

I love the cookout, it’s been my new main for bugs since it dropped. It has the total package, Enough damage to one shot warriors or less and the fire dot can kill small bugs even if only one pellet hits them, giving it great crowd clear. And for the heavier enemies it has crowd control, the stagger can just absolutely bully guardians and commanders away from you, stop stalkers in their tracks, and interrupt bile spewers spit attack. Yea it doesn’t perform well for actually killing the commanders and spewers, but I like to run grenade launcher lately anyways so no issue. A good bug primary just needs to clear out the trash and keep you alive from the tougher enemies until you have the opportunity to use your support/stratagems again and the cookout does this amazingly well.
