Helldivers 2 - BEST LOADOUT vs TERMINIDS and AUTOMATONS?? 🤔 | Meta Post Update Patch 1.0.3

Greetings Helldivers! Have you been looking for an all-around loadout that you can use against both the Terminids and the Automatons? A lot of updates and changes have been pushed out since Patch 01.000.300, so I tested a whole bunch of different combinations and ended up with what I think is the most efficient loadout we currently have available.

It doesn't matter whether you're playing in the lower difficulties or all the way to Helldive-9, this thing will do nothing but serve maximum democracy every single time. Until big changes happen again, this loadout is meta, and can be used for any type of missions, as I made sure that we put in a certain amount of flexibility and personal customization for everybody's playstyle or preference.

Hi guys, a lot of you might be wondering if this loadout is still effective, post 1.0.302, so I went ahead and tested it with a full guided gameplay video.

Tldr: It still works with our loadout, and unless you're mainly using it as a "1-shot sniper rifle", then we're good. You'd barely notice it.

I personally use DEMOCRACY AS MY PRIMARY, LIBERTY AS SECONDARY, JUSTICE AS MY SUPPORT WEAPON AND EAGLE-1 GOT MY BACK

Remember that the only actual loadout you ever need is the one that you personally enjoy, i love concussive pushback weapons with the strafing run, i like to push the enemies in a line and finish them off with a strafing run for maximum democracy!!

After 725 hours of helldiving and killing millions of enemies, I believe there is absolutely no single best loadout in the game.
If there is anything close to a perfect load out, it would be a group of 4 that work together as a team. Period.

Regular Eagle strike is so much better than Eagle 110, especially once you get the 4th Module upgrade. It will damn sure hit moving targets, just toss the strat onto the target (charger, tank, whatever) and it'll hit 100% and does way more damage vs a factory strider. It's way better for taking out medium bot bases because if get the angle right, it'll take out both fabricators in one strike.

My go-to loadout for Terminids is
Concussive Liberator(nice little buff from the update)
P-2 Peacemaker(because it is fun and buffed, but practically you'd want to run grenade pistol)
Impact or stun grenades
Jump pack
Anti-Material Rifle
Eagle airstrike
Eagle 110mm rocket pods

This build is mainly focused on taking out enemies quickly before bug breaches are called in order to roam quickly AND has S-tier support abilities. Been having a blast with this build against the bugs.

Ever since the Eruptor came out I've been rocking that with the senitor and stun grenades. Everything else I mix up based on mission type.

I got to try the supply pack backpack and its so much fun! I always go with the jetpack for mobility today i tried that and the Punisher Plasma. That gun is underrated IMO it's so nice that this game has everything for everyone and that a level 7 new player like i played with today could easily hold their own with high level players on a difficulty 8 mission and not feel like they were underperforming

This has been my go to since the DD warbond dropped, with the exception, I typically run the Explosion resistant armor, and started using the shield at first till I got more comfortable with doing swarms and slowly went back to Rover. I have almost exclusively ran the Quasar since its launch since I love that I can shoot at things from across the map. Spore Spewers are harder now but just take another shot, still faster then EATs imo on shakira nests, can destroy the broadcast stations, open crates, and destroy holes more accurately from affar if im outside of the 150m range. Ive been on and off senator and the redeemer, but both are fun options.

as a repeat bot scrappers I usually have 2 load-outs.
1. Heavy Assault, pick up an smg, riot shield, grenade pistol(for fabricators) and a support weapon of your choice that doesnt require backpack space(my faves are the laser cannon or railgun). for armour I'd recommend explosion resistance and medium but it doesnt really matter
2. Diligent Operator, diligence cs, support weapon of your choice(and backpack if u want to), grenade pistol(for fabricators) any armour goes well with this one.
Note the grenade pistol can be used in combat but the reaso I evenbring it is so i can use my grenade of choice in combat and not fabricators

It might be worth running the redeemer over the senator for close-range threats. with a little trigger discipline, can make the ammo last quite a while, effectively giving you more "shot" and a faster reload compared to the senator.

i like to play the the role of being away from team searching for enemy bases being as sneaky as possibly
Search and Destroy.

breaker, grenade pistol and normal grenade

bots: eagle airstrike, orbital laser, orbital precision strike and autocanon or quasar

hive:500, eagle airstrike, railcannon and quasar

I love using autocanon and EAT and then incindiary shotgun for bugs or JAR-5 for automatons. Workds quite well for everything.

I think it's so great that I look at this loadout and I think it's bad, but you had a lot of success from it. So many viable and fun combos in this game.
