hmm... depends on the difficulty and team. In my experience if they didnt change the heat sink cooldown the arc thrower is still better because you can just aim for the head and forget about armor. Id say if you change for Arc thrower and use the same backpack you will notice you kill them much faster. Dont forget you are using the backpack with laser, so its pretty much helping you all the time with that terrible heatsink and doing a lot, A LOT of damage. The main problem with Arc is that people just love to get close to hordes for no reason, then you are unnable to help them, but if you are not playing with a suicide squad, regular ppl usually try to keep their distance from heavies and hordes, then you have a weapon that kills 3 enemies at every shot with no heatsink.
When ppl are too close to hordes you can use the new laser rifle that also has infinite ammo though.

The best loadout is a team with good team composition 😂
I have played with auto, gatling, machinesentry+expendable rocketL with great sucess. This type of loadout is waaaay better than i thought, yesterday i got 670kills with it my team mates got around 250kills. They are super handy to throw away from yourself prefererably a high point.

i mostly run the EAT i think it's really fun to just insta kill chargers and do massive damages to bile titans, not sure what it's like on bots but i don't intend to find out 😅

Just finished a Helldiver session and in one game we lost count at 16 Bile Titans and 20+ chargers. Not to mention tons of Hunters.

Impossible mode used to be easy, now it's fun 😈

My playstyle is Jump pack + Arc thrower and whatever stratagems I think I'll need. Can clear all diffs and missions. But that's just me, everyone's playstyle is different :)

Recently I’m running Scorcher primary mostly on Terminids and also because it’s versatile as heck: deletes eggs, spore spewers across the map, Nursing Spewers, Warriors, Hive Guards, Scout Striders, Bile Titans abdomens to lower their HP a bit (which then prevents them from puking although them puking on other bugs is legit a good weapon), overall it’s pretty good. Then SMG secondary obviously and that helps a lot against hunters and smaller enemies on your back (including Warriors). Then either Arc Thrower with Guard Dog or EAT with perhaps ammo pack or shield pack or Recoiless to save a slot (seen people team reloading often recently if not me doing it, but its reload time is painful), maybe the Grenade Launcher sometime, still not exactly sold on AMR but I can see its uses. Not sold at all on flamethrower, I’d rather use a Stalwart (or Arc Thrower really) because this thing actually needs a few seconds to really melt each bugs including the smaller ones and by aiming at them since the burning effect DPS is pretty bad, and it melting chargers after buff is still laughable next to an anti-tank weapon shot to the face or Eagle 110mm rocket after being injured by other means.

The rest stratagem wise is depending on the team. And yes, I bring Eagle strafe run regularly because I’m tired of team mates running into cluster bombs, in fact, I don’t run much Eagle or Orbital at this point and may bring an Autocanon sentry instead. And lastly impact grenades but I intend to try out the stun grenades.

This build overall just works perfectly for me. It’s my own personal meta that both keeps me alive fairly easily and helps the team.

On the lower tier Chargers there are times I can shoot through the armor on their front legs for a fast kill if you stay focused on the same spot. Sadly the higher tier Chargers have heavier armor on their front legs and it won't penetrate anymore.

Gatling turret, recoilless rocket, 500 kg bomb, and anything of your choice has been dominating for me. Gatling can melt any enemy weaker than a charger, and you can 1 shot the charger with the rocket. 500 kg bomb can 1 shot the bile titans (though it takes practice) and a mech for backup. Unbeatable
