I've been using flamethrower since the update. Not because it is meta, but because the flames look cool when I'm on stims. No I'm not addicted to stims. I can quit any time.

I’m seeing more chargers, not less. They’re spawning in pairs. You can easily end up with 4 chargers right after diving.

The gas orbital is also fantastic. Just drop it on a bug breach every time it comes off cooldown and watch the kills stack!

move forward WHEN you use the EAT/quasar/recoiless for 1 shot the leg's armor of behemoth charger ;)

honestly before this update i had literally never seen a charger behemoth (as someone who plays on 8-9 diff.)

I'm even seeing a ton more hive guards. Making light armor pen weapons quite a bit less effective.

I’ve played quite a few matches on level 9 with the update. Anti armor is needed now more then ever. There’s still quite a solid armored terminus presence. Also these new chargers (with the weird head and grey armor) take like 3 shots from armor pen weapons, like the rec rifle.

Don't forget that the way we used to kill chargers was with 2 railgun shots to the leg to expose it then finish with a primary. Nobody should be concerned about the difficulty of hitting their legs. Additionally, you can often damage their legs with a primary weapon even when it looks like the armor is still there.

next balance patch Pilestedt be like:
Flame Thrower damage decreased by 50%
Incendiary Breaker magazine size decreased from 26 to 12

Known issues: Flame tick damage works only for host, again XD

The buff to the grenade launcher makes it OP against hordes. Pummeler stuns stalkers plus you can run and gun bc it’s one handed. Bring two elite killing strategems. Impact grenades above all others. Grenade pistol the best when you initially drop without support weapons and need the fire power. Supply backpack gives you basically unlimited sticks, grenades, and ammo.

The quasar cannon was never top 3 against bugs and not mentioning the grenade launcher once makes me think you’ve never used it, it’s an easy top 3 against bugs for utility and wave clear alone. You don’t need a support weapon to take out bile titans and chargers when OPS and Eagle Airstrike exist.
