Narc would say "I love you and I can't help it." I said " I don't love you, & I can't help it." Tried many times get rid of him. Hopefully this is it.

The narcissist ghosted me three times in two and a half years. I never got intimate with them thank God. This last time we hung out he took off with my purse and I ran upon him going through my phone. That was the straw that broke the camel's back. He tried to gaslight, deflect, and lie his way out of what he was doing. I was like you're going through my phone you took off with my purse with all my stuff in it including my gun. I was done even though he tried to make it about all the old pictures about just mess to validate what he did and I was like nah I'm good. If you just wanted out of the situation we were in just say so I wouldn't have held you hostage. But they fight so hard to find things to go validate with a really want to do and when you let them go and tell them to go on their way they fight so hard to come back crazy making behavior.

Thank you for the video. You are right about no contact being the most effective weapon against narc. After going no contact with my brother inlaw and his narc wife I felt so much peace and relaxed. They tried multiple times to creep back into my life and I just left them on read. Best decision ever. Never let their toxicity spill into your life.
