An apple shape should do more abdominal and back strengthening exercices plus ( intense, fast paced) cardio
A rectangle shape could focus on lower body toning.
It's not because somebody has a an hourglass shape (now) that they will keep it, not without regular moderate exercise.
Nor will you see *a body shape result* within 5 weeks, you may lose weight, shed some pounds but to have a significantly different appearance p.ex. less fat on thighs hips, stronger back, rounder shoulders....You will need about 7 to 12 weeks of *consistent workouts.*
Just keep going and *variation is key* do not just do challenges and endless endurance cardio, do what works for you and keeps you motivated! If that's rather boxing than running or playing squash than lifting weights in gym then go do that ....
I personally have noticed that doing a squat or "belly fat " challenge from time to time keeps me motivated.
however walking, cycling and swimming are very advisable for any fitness level and age!

So according to this Apple shapes do less exercise and Rectangle shape do the most. I don't agree with this. For both Rectangle and Apple shape, I would be less focused on ab workouts because these body shapes proportionally have bigger waists than other body types. Doing too much ab workouts will only add muscle/ inches.
