There are no universal nutrition tools, but here is a pattern we have observed in our decades of working with clients.

Many people who report significant carbohydrate cravings are the same people who rely on artificial sweeteners in their diets and avoid fruits and other starches. This causes a disconnect in a brains, which anticipate the that sweet foods will provide digestable carbohydrates (ie glucose) which never follows.

Adding in whole fruits, whole grains, and complex starches into the diet can be a very effective tool for reducing, or eliminating, these unwanted cravings.
