Without wearing special insoles from my doctor I wasn’t able to wear normal shoes anymore for a long time. Otherwise I got so much pain, that I literally could not walk.
With the barefoot shoes and some transition with the functional shoes like from Joe nimble, I was able to strengthen my feet levels higher! I do not wear any supporting insoles any more and it doesn’t hurt at all! I did some of the exercises you showed here and did this daily in the office too. Barefoot shoes just changed my walking experience!!! 🎉

Thanks for talking about the symptoms. I think I've been confusing the typical pain from working the feet, like around the foot arc in minimalist shoes with Plantar Fasciitis.

I like your videos, seems so far like a lot of good practical information. Most minimalist shoe videos only seem to apply to runners. I'm 48 years old and have spent most of my life in steel toe work boots. I'd like to spend time outside work in barefoot shoes. Keep up the good work!

Recently ordered myself a pair of vivobarefoots and the first thing I noticed was how good the fresh leather smell was. Normally when I try on shoes I have to squeeze my feet in so it was such a weird experience feeling how spacious my feet felt in the shoes. 10/10 would recommend

I had PF for 2-3 years... I tried everything... and I bought many super cushioned shoes, Boost, React, FreshFoam, etc... they are confy, but the hurt keeps appearing always. My physiotherapist suggest me to try barefoot style shoes, because this pain could be because my feets went so weak after using always ultra confortable shoes. After many months using a Merrell Glove shoes, walking barefoot on home and toe spacers I feel that my feets are stronger and now I can even do hiking with the Forest ESC from Vivo. My only problem with barefoot it's that if I'm going to walk so much (maybe 17-20 km one day) my feets hurt on the heel so much. But I hope this problem to get solved once I train more my feets!

I have suffered from plantar fasciitis for around two years, about two months ago I switched to using barefoot shoes and doing many of the same things shown in this video and I have to say my foot finally feels like it’s actually getting better! Quick question for the creator, I’ve been wearing a brace at night that goes around my ankle and toes and keeps my toes flexed up at night effectively keeping the plantar fascia stretched while sleeping. My foot does feel pretty good in the morning but I’m not sure if the brace is actually helping and after watching your video it seems like this brace would be doing some of the same things that the shoes which cause plantar fasciitis are doing. Do you think I should ditch the brace or keep wearing it? Thanks again for the video! It’s great to know that I’ve been doing good work towards ending my foot pain and I will definitely be subscribing :)

I run daily in minimal shoes and always have . However I have on occasions worn regular engineered cushioned shoes for longer ultras so I can run harder and more competitively . As they have more protection which is handy when fatigue sets in further into the events, it’s a compromise as in contrast I enjoy barefoot running .
The take away is always foot pain, leg pain and back pain .
If running any terrain less than twenty miles I would always use barefoot shoes, if running further but not necessarily looking to position or watching my time I would still ware them .

Im suffering from chronic PF for more than a year. since last jan I started using barefoot shoes and the toespacers. pain is still there but not as intense. also would be great to have video that teach how to start walking(not kidding). i find it very hard to adopt the bearfoot walking as I keep striking my ankle first

Oh Boy, I walk barefoot for 5 years now and I got plantar fasciitis recently.... I can hardly walk. I am so desperate (I need to walk my Dalmatian for at least 1, 5 hours a day) that I am even looking at Kybun shoes. If somebody has hints and tips for me: I would be grateful!
