Foot and ankle specialist, Dr. Anthony Hinz, from The Center in Bend, Oregon shares how he treats his patients with Plantar Fasciitis.

Plantar fasciitis is the most common cause of foot pain, radiating from the bottom of the heel throughout the foot. Plantar fasciitis occurs when that supporting tissue becomes irritated and inflamed.

About 90% of plantar fasciitis cases heal successfully with conservative treatment options but the longer it goes unaddressed the longer it will take to heal and more complications can arise.

Thank you SO much for talking about the Gastroc. I'm a serious jumproper and have been getting PF on my left foot. I am wondering why I only feel it on my left and not right? Is it simply because i lean into my left more?
