After losing 87lbs 4 yrs ago and have kept off. I have been consistent doing 3x work resistance training & cycling/walking. I am 60 & finally I have a 4 pack not 6 yet. It took 3 yrs to finally for me to have visible abs...also loose skin on lowest lower ab...probably due to my age & skin elasticity. Which I think at this point only surgery removing this skin may help in seeing my 6pk. In the mean time just eating my protein & working out consistently is my goal for success at this moment. Thanks Michelle for all this great info.

So well balanced- many people don’t realize the low body fat % that visible abs require for women. I love that you are helping people see that it is okay to just drop that goal in order to pursue other quality of life goals! Personally, I will take the “two lines” and enjoy my life!

I needed this, ive been on a weight loss journey for a little over a year and have went for 165 to 135. That was originally my goal weight however I was still unhappy with my definition. I’ve recently felt this sense of urgency around seeing the muscle I want and was willing to forget that it took a year of progress to get here and may take a year of progress to get to the next step too.

Thank you for being realistic. I am starting to see definition in my stomach area, but I have a "mommy pouch" that I just can't shift. The result is I look fantastic front on, and like a letter D from the side.

I’m a 14 year old girl, and I work out kind of regularly, if you see this would you have any advice? I’m trying to get not hardcore abs but just loose the extra skin on my stomach even though it’s normal. I’m 5’6 and 123 lbs. any work out tips for me?

Ok, so I have been complaining about low protein intake, and not happy with the results despite the workouts, cardio, good diet, I would say excellent diet.
❗️ You convinced me how protein is important and after not even 4 weeks of constant hitting protein every single day my abs are so much visible. This morning when I saw myself in front of the mirror, I couldn't believe it, and yes, I have - 3 cm in my waist, -1 cm on my hips, but only 1 kg less.
Would you agree that that is a good recompensition?😊
But sleep, oh...not more that 6..6.30 hours but that is just my rytham doesn't bother me.
So yes, abs are made in the kitchen!!!
Been trying to get to visible abs for over almost 2 yrs, and listing to you about protein and more compound exercise I have accomplished it

Hi I have a question. I'm dyspraxic and I struggle alot with knowing how to exercise properly. I know 2 ab exercises that work for me and I'm comfortable with. Is it okay for me to only do these 2 exercises along with bicep exercises and sports?
