You may not see this comment, but I hope that you can enlighten me on the types of cheese used for pasta, sandwich, toasted breads, and just in general cooking. I went to the market one day to buy cheese where I can grate it myself (been using the one already grated and it doesn’t taste too good) but I have no clue which cheese to get because I’m not sure what food goes with what cheese.

As an Italian-American, I love this woman. However, my great-grandparents all grew up poor as new imaginants to America. Sometimes mio papu would cook all their food in the same pot of sauce for a month: pork, beef, chicken, anything they had. Then at the end of the month, they had pasta with that sauce. Before he died, he made it for me when I was 6 years old and it was the best pasta I ever had
