I Just made Tony Sopranos Favorite Meal! | Steak Pizzaiola recipe #shorts

I love steak… and I love Italian food! So why not make one of the best combinations of the two that just so happens to be the favorite meal of me Tony Soprano!
Ingredients:
* 2 steaks of choice, I used ribeyes
* Olive oil
* Salt and pepper
* 1 large onion diced
* 2-3 bell peppers, sliced
* 4-5 cloves of garlic minced
* 3-4 pepperoncini, sliced
* 3/4 tsp oregano
* 1/2 tsp chili flakes
* 15 oz crushed tomatoes
* 1/2 cup water
* Basil and focaccia for serving.
Instructions:
1. Start by seasoning up the steaks and preparing the vegetables. Once everything is ready, heat a large skillet over medium high heat.
2. When the skillet is up to temp, add the olive oil, and place the steaks in. We’re going to sear for 90 seconds per side.
3. Remove the steak, then add the onions and start to cook them down. When they become aromatic and translucent, add the bell peppers.
4. When the bell peppers soften, add the garlic and cook for 30-45 seconds. Then we can add the pepperoncini, oregano, and chili flakes. Pour the crushed tomatoes on top and add a little water as well!
5. Once everything is mixed well, place the steaks back in and simmer covered until the internal temp hits 129-132.
6. Let the steaks rest and I like to continue to simmer the sauce uncovered to let it reduce a little more.
7. Taste the sauce for seasoning, Alice the steak and serve!
