Four things to lose belly fat:
1) Drink coffee in the moring
2 ) more soy
3) keep your room cold at night, 66 deg temperature
4) drink more water

Coffee as the first thing in the morning is controversial, because it is known to interfere with or increase the working of cortisol hormon. I learned that it is better to avoid coffee in the morning and push it back to the late morning.

My understanding about water before a meal is that it dilutes stomach acid. Maybe 30 minutes to an hour before, but I’ve heard right before or with the meal affects proper digestion. Just something to research.

I LOVE your book How To Fast Like A Girl, but sometimes I get lost trying to add variety while adhering to the hormone feasting/ketobiotic foods. I am crossing my fingers for a fully fleshed out foods list and a cookbook with TONS of meal ideas. Or even a 'meal plan' where I can just stick to that initially and then branch out after I learn what to have to have/what to avoid and when.. thanks for all your great work and great content! Lots of love for you❤

This is so encouraging to know why belly fat happens and how to get rid of it, with 4 simple things. I'm going to try these things. We already sleep in our bedroom with it very cold, and yes we sleep much deeper and better and I love how that helps with my quality of sleep, so that does make a difference. I love your book and can’t wait for the cookbook! This makes sense now-I started HRT and have gained weight especially belly fat so I think that the hormones aren’t benefiting me.

Coffee helps me get through intermittent fasting since it suppresses my appetite. Lemon water I have found is helpful also first thing in the morning.
