I did a WIM HOF retreat and through his breathe work I was able to let go of pain and suffering I had been holding onto for years. It’s difficult to express in words the experience but it was absolutely amazing

I can exercise while holding my breath for 60 seconds. The best guide to breathwork that nobody heard of. It's insightful. This discovery of inner peace also helped me overcome the death of my little boy. I highly recommend this. The Full Breath by James Francis.

I totally agree! I am doing WMHF as part of my daily routine, and I incorporated praying while holding my breath. What an amazing experience every time! It even cleanses me internally and physically.

I'm a freediver. Get this feeling freediving and skiing. Occasionally after the downhill portion of a mountain bike after spending 80% of the the day getting my bike up the mountain.

There IS really something with breathwork - I need to study it and do it myself, I think everyone should. The YOGI's knew that the breath was more important than just a bodily function to breath O2 into the lungs. Breath is very important in meditation / mindfulness. WE ALL SHOULD BE DOING stuff like Wim hoff and others.

My father is going to pass in a few weeks. I want to be as prepared as I can, been doing win hoff breath day and night and I’m already processing the grief, and I’ll be more stable to take care to things. Learning consistency is key.

It is the dopamine building up for you to breath because of high co2 in blood. Breathing is not stimulated becauqe of low o2 its because of high co2. Dopamine peak ==> breathing ==> euforic feeling

I do wim hof breathing in most stressful situations (work, family etc) and it helps me deal with the stress like nothing else

God breathed life into man. Breathing is a very real spiritual practice, and it’s a way to center your spirit. I know there’s a lot of new age notions tied to breathwork, and so many people just discount it.

Many people don’t realize that they are actually breathing incorrectly, and it causes many problems (mentally, emotionally, and physically). Learning to control your breath is very powerful — even if you discount the spiritual aspects around it.

There’s a reason why cardio and exercise that forces you to breathe more is associated with greater overall health. Running, swimming, biking, etc. these all force you to control your breath and breathe deeper.

And sometimes when you do the breathing just on its own, you experience something similar to a runners high, where your perception shifts slightly.

Controlling your breath is a powerful way to instantly change your psychological or emotional state into something more positive.

The advice people often give to someone dealing with anxiety is learn to focus on your breathing. Changing how you use your body will instantly change how your body responds to certain stimuli.

Anyways I believe it’s something everyone should do as part of their spiritual practice. Just focus on your breath and be still. Listen for that still small voice within you speaking. ❤

I take cold showers everyday. Since this week I started doing Wim Hof's breathing exercise twice a day. I hope it will solve my anxiety and stress related issues.
