I do a 36 hour fast every week as a preventive maintenance measure. I've been doing this for four years. I lost 30 pounds. From 193 to 163. My doctor said he wishes all his patients had blood chemistry as good as mine.

Thanks for this video. I have been doing intermittent fasting for gut health and digestion. I am already quite a slim woman and won’t want to lose weight . This is the only video I found helpful info in this aspect. Thank you .

Good video. It’s hard to get over the fact that you don’t need to fast everyday once you get where you want to be . We tend to get greedy and want “more” or simply like the routine of fasting.

I got so lean that I reduced the fasting by a lot since I wanna gain weight now and muscle. A good Video About keto and fasting for weightgain would be nice including carbs

I think a lot of people have a hard time differentiating IF (16 hours a day, every day) vs 'fasting' (full 24hr day, once or twice a week).

Thanks! Balancing this since I lost 56lbs 2 years ago. On the 4th day of a 5 day "fast". I eat wild black raspberries on a 2hr hike each day, about 100 cal. I burn 700 calories. Amazing! Sleeping like a baby but I hit .8 GKI. Got into ketosis in 16hrs. I feel great. I always use electrolytes, ginger, acv, turmeric, matcha and kelp when I fast. I will add cinnamon. Micro-dosed my beloved coffee.I always feel great when I fast and when I break my fast.

I lost 30 pounds in 6 months doing OMAD. I’m lean now but I still fast sometimes for 20-22 hours just because I love the energy and mental focus.

Could you break down on this subject a little more in another video? In my case, I lost the weight I needed to lose and now I want to keep going with fasting because of autophagy benefits and some loose skin I still have... Could you talk about a way of doing fast without breaking my metabolism up now that I am lean?

when he says to just fast 2 days a week, does he mean a long fast? (24+) or intermittent fasting?

Man Thomas so on point again! You're the best xD I'm trying to kick my remaining health issues with prolonged fasting, but due to good foods and fasting I went from being somewhat overweight to now borderline skinny. I rly don't want to be under 10% bodyfat and now I'm cycling a bit between overeating and fasting.
