Science has shown multiple times that training in the evening, say 6pm is superior to am training. But I agree with you, that feeling you get after training in the morning is irreplicable, I always train in the pm but on the weekends, it's am, so I can get it off the list.

Train in the morning isn't possible when I have to be at work 7am and the gym opens at IJS

Depleting your now damaged muscle tissue of nutrients isn't the best idea. You should eat at max 4 hours after training, preferably in a window of 2 hours after training. This way your recovery will be better and you'll make better results

@DoctorMikeDiamonds I'm trying to get some information for someone who's trying to lose some weight. He recently turned 30 and is 6ft 1in tall and weigh 285 lbs. He goes to the gym 3 times a week and work out with a trainer doing very intense training / workouts. He recently started doing intermittent fasting but his trainer is saying he needs to eat to lose weight and is suggesting a detox for 3 days per week for the next 3 months where he'll eat fruits each day. I tried telling him that working out only 3 days per week no matter the intensity is not enough plus he should also be doing some cardio like walking at least 2 days per week. Also what's your take on the detox fruits diet suggested by his trainer? Fruits contain loads of sugar🤷🏾‍♀️
Would really appreciate some suggestions from you as he's getting very frustrated 🥹

In another video, he said 30 to 50 g of protein per meal. So how would 200 pound person get the 200 g of protein if they’re fasting now? so if I’m eventually fasting for four hours or eight hours have to eat at least four meals to get those 200 hundred grams of protein within that short window. That ain’t happening.

I can’t force myself to wake up 2h earlier before work + I love the feeling when it’s 1h till work end and I can’t wait to workout, but I still eat 8/16.

I would have to wake you up at 4am to train and be at work on time at 6am it sucks because I’ve never been a morning person but I love my job and for that I get up at 530 to work at 6😂 but 4am…. In another reality maybe

But where do you get your morning workout energy? You must not be talking about “literally” not eating until the afternoon.
