John Piper Is Wrong About The President

John Piper recently wrote an article in which he paralleled the arrogance of the President with the policies of the Left. In this video, I provide a summary of Dr. Gagnon's strong refutation of Dr. Piper's article.

Glad you did a proper analysis and discernment on John Piper's article on election politely without harsh language. It sadden me deeply when I saw many so-called "reformed" (don't get me wrong, I am Reformed Calvinist) christians bashed Piper as heretic and wolf in sheep's skin. I do acknowledge some of Piper's minor doctrinal error, but I do believe none of these are adequate to disqualify him. In fact, he is also just another fallible man like us. Hope Piper see the flaw he have, in the same time hope God is still preserving us until New Heaven and Earth came. God bless you Polite Leader.

I used to be a bit troubled by president Trump's speech, but after having studied social Marxist political correctness for several months, I began to see Trump as a hero, as he speaks his mind when most politicians are bowing down to the Marxists political correctness. Dr. John piper has been a somewhat distant mentor to me through this books alongside Dr. John Macarthur and Dr. Sproul. I would want to assume that this is just an issue where we can agree to disagree. However, it is more serious than that. I’m not even an American. Praying for Dr. piper, nonetheless.

I too have been and continue to be blessed by John Piper's messages. I really have not seen much in the way of policy from this administration, perhaps you can enlighten me. I have heard the bluster and continuing derision for people who "do not like Trump" and support for white supremacy. I think we must all stand back and consider that this world is not our home and God's sovereignty still reigns. Our command is not to support a person in power for this world, but to proclaim the gospel of Christ so that hearts can be changed through the work of the Holy Spirit. Who cares that Pence's pastor is from the Master's seminary? Francis Chan was trained there too! It is God who is presiding over this election. He will put in place who He wants in office. You are assuming it's Trump, but I'm not sure where you base your evidence on the will of God. His plan is His alone and we cannot view it through man's faulty lens. He is working His plan and I say even so come Lord Jesus!
