I had an ex who wore revealing clothes to church when I tried to explain she shouldnt do it she responded "guys look at me anyway so its ok..." I am single now due to that toxic relationship being bullied by her and ridiculed but it is hard to find a godly wife in these days but I pray He will bring one

I think this is something most women face and I too face as well. At the end of the day, it’s about what we look for to satisfy ourselves and what markers or identifiers leads us to be wholesome, but anything outside of Christ is loss. My love, freedom, and joy comes from Christ which then leads me in viewing Him as my identifier and sustainer in all things. This value and worth is far beyond me and my vision shifts me from myself to Christ in a way that changes me from the inside out. God is so worthy of my worship and I consider myself privileged to be called by God to be holy by His grace.

I still struggle with this wanting to look “sexy” because I believe it validates me in society regarding 1st impressions my sexiness and youth is what will gain admiration and respect from people. “Wow look at her shes a little sexy woman”...and I conclude it’s what will give me value...

It’s all lies ego and superficial....nothing of that matters I’m trying to keep growing closer to Christ and I’m more convicted to dress like a princess a wife a mom not a matron but beautiful and precious in the eyes of the Lord...

If men will go to hell for looking at a women w/ lust (matt5:28-30; which Dr Piper taught here) *then the women who caused that lust to occur would go to hell for causing that fall to happen (matt18:6, mk**9:42**). If women were taught that they’d dress differently. I’d appreciate getting a rebuttal from Dr Piper on that rationale if he feels that is incorrect.*

We all have sinned and fell short of the glory to God. The problem is, that God is holy and doesn’t live with sin. So we all deserve to go to hell, but Jesus paid the price so you don’t have to. All you have to do is confess Jesus as your savior and repent (turn from all sin) and you’ll can have eternal life.
