Not standing up for the common good of neighbors and dis-engaging from culture is a BAD Idea... The gospel must be our focus but when it is in our power to help others we must do so. Socialism is evil. SDG.

I personally thought John Piper’s article was very clear. He makes it apparent that BOTH the presidential candidates exhibit either personalities or uphold policies that equally result in death. It’s contrary to scripture to believe that a LEADER’S person (his character) cannot influence a nation to sin.

John Piper clearly & explicitly points to scripture to support his article.
“unrepentant sexual immorality (porneia), unrepentant boastfulness (alazoneia), unrepentant vulgarity (aischrologia), unrepentant factiousness (dichostasiai)” each lead to death & it is a TRUE Christian’s duty to resist all sins. The choice to vote neither Trump or Biden seems the most aligned with Christ, though perhaps not with “America.”
