So, God's purpose for creating the Cosmos was, for Him, simply to enter into it as a personal Being, and to have relationships with other persons, creatures like Himself. That's why He walked in the Garden of Eden with us before we disobeyed Him. He wants to be friends with other persons sentient enough to understand Him and love Him for who He is, not merely for what He can give us. Adam and Eve already had everything they needed, except for the wisdom they gained from their daily walk with God. That was what they lost through the fall, and that was what God lost - what He had desired from his work of creation. Thus, if He couldn't join us in Shalom, He chose to join us in suffering. We can still give Him what He wants, the trust and companionship we had before.

so Jesus gave us free Will. The ability to do anything that we choose. Knowing that he would have to give up Everything. Jesus would have to die and break us from the curse of sin that we ourselves created.
So that anyone who accepts life through Jesus will be saved. And that anyone who accepts life through satan will be condemned.
We have an important job to continually submit to Jesus so that we can allow Him to reach others through our bodies here on earth.
Look at those who are honest, good, and love peace. For those are the ones that are your true neighbors the neighbors that Jesus commands us to Love.

The spiritual danger of Calvinism

But the TULIP Calvinists have a problem that is, if anything, even worse. The doctrine of double predestination as held by, say, John Piper, means that God, from before the foundation of the world, elects some for eternal suffering in hell. To point this out is not news, least of all to the TULIP folks themselves. Nonetheless, their theology convicts God of evil of the most monstrous sort: willing the eternal damnation of a lot of human persons created good and in the image of God. That humans are fallen and helpless, and don't seem to want saving, doesn't help God's case (in this theology), because God holds all the cards, and indeed has determined them all, from before the foundation of the world. Yet this "gloriously" manifests "justice", one is told. To spell it out further, the problem is that it is hard to see how Piper Calvinists are not lying when they claim that God is all good, or, "God is love" (1 John 4:8). How is willing the eternal damnation of even one person from before the foundation of the world consistent with the claim that God is all good, much less that God is pure and perfect love?

The spiritual danger of TULIP Calvinism is in believing that God is not loving enough, not good enough, to save all.

Piper said that LIFE ITSELF should take a back seat to being against Trump. That he let politics so overpower his testimony speaks reams, and it is not good.
