Many many regrets. I pray the Lord will restore the years the locust have eaten away.

Thank you for this message. I'm a 32 year old mother of 2 with different fathers, never married..so so many regrets. Being grateful for what I do have and the good choices I did make does help, but I agree with pastor when he says God uses this to draw us closer to him. I am the woman whose debts and sins were many. Luke 7:41-50 Jesus ends this parable by saying "thy faith hath saved thee, go in peace" Not regret, but peace. ❤

I have 37 long years of regret after regret. I became a true Christ follower in March 2020 and since then I have repented of so very many sins. And I deal with another and another and another past trauma that pops up every month since then. Trying to work through all of the sins and regrets is overwhelming sometimes. Jesus help me!

As a 25 year old man, this is a very heavy topic to hear but very insightful. Thank you for these great, God driven videos.

are we willing to learn from our failures? I think thats the most important. I have huge regrets. I would do anything to turn back the clock. We all make mistakes, always will, so its pointless beating ourselves up. While sin is sin there are some big traps you can get stuck in. Its if we can learn and keep clear of making that same mistake.

Thank you for the reminder to forget the past when it leads to a depressive state. I love how you help us apply the Bible to the details of our life, so that we may serve and glorify God in all things!

I think one important thing to remember is we do not get in the way of God. We are imperfect humans, yes, but God has a plan for our lives and nothing we can do will change the outcome. We are not big enough to thwart the plans of our almighty creator. Believing we can is actually kind of prideful.

Hello all, I am in my 50s and struggling with regret. I find it hard to remember good times, though they have been many, but failure and things I would change are always on playback! I know that this is not how God wants me to be. When I am praying and worshipping I find relief from this depression. I know He is speaking to me on this issue and this popped up on YouTube today. Praise God than He knows what we need to hear. Thank You Lord for all You did for me and all you continue to do I will press on towards the goal. ❤

Thank you to Marvin for such an important question, and to Pastor John for helping us think it all through. I will have to listen to this a few times over.
