My favourite thing is to practice yoga at 5am with just candlelight and observing my shadow dancing to Adriene's symphony 🥰 loved that downward dog to plank position transition🤗

Hello Breath, Bridge and YWA family! How are you? Yesterday was a little quieter. Are we still on the MOVE?

I had never done this particular video. I thoroughly enjoyed it though, despite my hands feeling tired earlier on. Quite a nice sequence and hope to follow it again some time. May you enjoy it as well! 💜🙏

I enjoyed to do today’s practice slow; just what I needed. For me it was funny when Adriene said: „Feel the support of the Earth beneath you“. Here in Iceland the Earth has been shaking for a week and I could feel how very much Mother Earth is alive when I did the practice. Have a lovely and peaceful day all of you. Namaste 🙏🏻❤️

i felt really sad, annoyed and unmotivated today and didn't have any expectations to get any studying done today so i did my yoga first (usually wait until i need a studying break) and oh my goodness this was good! i still feel sad and tired, but i feel like i already accomplished something today and that gives me motivation to at least give this day another chance. thank you!

When I saw the length of the practice, I didn't want to do it. But it actually was pretty comfortable and refreshing.

I am honestly beyond grateful to these monthly scheduled practices. The calendar really gives me the chance to lock in amd dedicate time to thr practice. I've been about 95% consistent with my practice since November 2022 from the Move calendar and haven't looked back since. It's given me the chance to have a better relationship with my body after neglecting it from the constant moving day to day and work.

Grateful to you Adriene and to this community, sending nothing but love to all of you here ❤️

ALIGN 🌟 | February 23, 2023 | I'm here for the spine practice! Today I had a smaller range of motion on the dog to plank moves because of a sore hand/wrist, but everything else was fantastic! 🙏

I love the articulations from plank to down dog! This practice was a bit in the middle for me… and by that I mean I was able to do the poses and such, but felt distracted and a bit harsh on myself with my inner voice. I’m dealing with some congestion, so maybe not being able to fully breathe from my nostrils is causing some frustration/anxiety? 🤔
Always reminded that this is a practice. As a perfectionist, I tend to give up if I dont “get it on the first try, ” but yoga really has taught me it’s the journey that is the true destination.

Adriene, you asked why I came to the mat today .... because I always do every day, but especially today because I was curious about this spine practice. I know from my life to respect my spine as it carries me safely through life as long as I look after it. I loved this slow slow sequence and could feel my spine benefiting and myself becoming more flexible. As a more senior yogi, I’ve become more stiff in this long lockdown here in England, noticing in forward fold ! But always at the end of our practices that has gone. You are working your magic Adriene 😃 I had to rest in that first plank move but not in the second and I did a super lovely full length stretch at our last savanna .... so satisfying ... perfect. See you tomorrow for Day 5 🧘🏼‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️🙏💕

I think that I've found all the videos of Yoga that I need and then I branch out, try something new and find that there was something else I needed to learn/do/find.

Yoga is a constant exploration and journey. I love that about Yoga.

I started doing YWA during our first lockdown here in the UK about 10 months ago. It has been such a challenging time for many reasons and there have been some days and even weeks when I've skipped practice, but in the end I keep coming back to it because it's my way of "fitting my own life jacket." This was the assigned video for today on the March 2021 playlist and I considered skipping it for a shorter one - I don't usually do more than 30 minutes as it feels too self-indulgent. But I am SO glad I went for it. I've been trying for months to build up to being able to do a full wheel pose and today I DID IT - I'm sure it was easier after doing this practice and really warming up the spine. My family and friends won't understand how stoked I am about this so I'm sharing here. Thank you Adriene for keeping me sane and making me feel capable when so many things are going wrong!

Energize June 2022, Day 9, 160 days of yoga
When I looked at the June calendar, I was really looking forward to this one. Little did I know I would wake up with an iffy lower back on this day, so this was perfect!
Keep your spine fluid, guys 'n gals! If it's not you really DO feel decades older than you really are! Have a lovely (and fluid) day!
