In this video, we're going to talk about why the best way to spike testosterone is through intermittent fasting (IF). Intermittent fasting can potentially increase testosterone by 180%. It does this by triggering the hypothalamus and releasing GRH. 

Insulin will kill your testosterone levels. 

Things that increase insulin:
• Eating 
• Frequent eating 
• Carbs 
• Alcohol
• Being fat

As you lose weight, it will likely get easier and easier to stimulate testosterone. Consider fasting for at least 16 hours with an 8-hour eating window. It may be beneficial to work up to 20 hours of fasting with a 4-hour window of eating.

I never been this lean and bulging 6 pack as now

37 years old, do a 20 hour fast. Bulky at 70kg and leaned down to 65kg and it hasn’t effected my lifting at the gym which is mind blowing. So fasting definitely increases testosterone and growth hormone.

Past cuts and leaning down never worked because I snacked too much.

Fasting is hands down the best way to lean out abs even if your hitting your 40’s it’s legit possible to be in amazing shape like a 20 year old.

I confirm this. I’ve fasten twice in mi life and it was really helpful to lose weight but also to gain muscle. After fasting, I felt much stronger and active than before. Just plan it ahead.

I did IF for a month and it's stupid how much weight I lost. Thing is I'm already underweight so really not good. I ate like crazy in my window to try and retain weight but nah .. just falls off. However, definitely had more energy and libido. Maybe skinny and high libido is better than a few kilos extra and lower energy.

I drink a Peanut butter Oats smoothie (1.30 hour before my workout.) Is that okay? I use 3 tbsp of Pintola Creamy PB and 1 cup of powdered oats and I blend to together in 1 cup of water.

Dr Berg, is this still accurate ? It’s been 5 years I read that intermitted fasting kills your testosterone. I’m fasting from 2am til 10pm then eat 10-2 so 20 hours. I’m 5’9 164lbs
