I started from 12 hours. I added 30 mins each week. Now I do 20:4. And I also exercise 5 days a week. Quit sugar. My relationship with food has completely changed. Never felt better in my entire life. Got rid of 27 pounds in 2 months. My anxiety is gone. I don't get angry as much. My memory seems to be improving.

Some people eat a lot in their eating window because they won't be getting to eat later. I'd say, eat until you're full but cut down on sugar and carbs. And sweat a little bit if you can. You will be amazed by the results.

It’s not a diet. It’s a lifestyle. I’m down 75.6lbs in 6.5 months

Am I the only one who thought Carson felt uncomfortable taking about losing weight?

I have been intermittent fasting for two years with the 16/8 plan (12 p.m.-8 p.m.) I have experienced less fatigue and more mental clarity. There are days that I take off, however it has not been any issues when I resume fasting.

The thought of not being able to feed yur face all day long is giving Carson a panic attack. Lol

This is a great example as to why this classic TV format is dying and podcasts are taking over. Look how fast and to the point he has to talk in order just to make his point. This required at least an hour to explain in any meaningful way.

I do the 16 hour fast. My eating window is 12-8. It fits my lifestyle perfectly since I don’t eat breakfast.

Breakfast is merely whenever you decide to BREAK your FAST. Even if it is the "most important meal of the day" there's nothing mythical about it having to be before 10am

I'm in 3 weeks of IF 18/6. I feel quite great though. I quit sugar and almost no carbs on my diet. It's quite easy. Next I'm gonna make home exercise my new habit. Cheers!

I been fasting from supper the night before till lunch time the next day, I been losing 25# every six to eight weeks. I was 390# when prostate cancer hit me. I dropped to 340# right away. I had to drop weight to fit on the radiation machine. Back then a half sammich of lettuce was lunch. But lately it’s been a small corn muffin at lunchtime, about 1/3 my normal supper. My doctor thought something was wrong I’m down to 240# then. I dropped to 220# I started eating normal just to see if I’m ok. I gained to 240# quickly, I’m ok.
Right now I’m down to 215#. I need to stay on it. My goal is 175#. I don’t think I was under 175# when I was born? Lol. I remember being 135# in grammar school. Finally being retired and not working hard anymore food doesn’t matter it’s no longer important in my life. I have a lot of health problems. Kidney failure is one of them. I’m ok one thing at a time. Everyday I wake up on this side of the green is a gift.

I do IF with keto.. I fast 16 - 18 hours a day, never feel hungry and never crave sugar or carbs. I lost 20lbs in 10 weeks without any cardio at all, i do weight train 3 days a week..my last meal is at 8pm, I don't eat again until 12pm to 2pm the next day..I eat 2 big meals in my eating window. With coffee and heavy cream in between. It truly is a game changer, I had high blood pressure, but not anymore..eat quality fats from meat(Grass fed), limit carbs to 10 grams a day or zero. BTW 12 hours is not a long enough fast, 16 hours is minimum for best results.

Im glad Dr Oz acknowledged that fasting is spiritual first. Then the body.

I have heard about this from Dr.Berg. Dr. Oz is confusing. Last time on his show he said that breakfast is important. Now it's not.
