I believe I have hypermobility. I used to always sit in the w position growing up. My legs can still go behind my head at 33. I had to go to the foot doctor bc my feet are so flexible it was causing problems while I walked.

Yeah my rheumatologist therapist said I had hypomobility but the rheumatologist disagrees with her even though she’s in the same practice as him and he sends his patients over to her to evaluate and she also said that this is already of everything and make things worse if you try to help doing any therapies because on top of that I had autoimmune diseases an other rare diseases

This is pretty normal position for me. Especially when i was a child, it was and still is the most comfortable one.
What do I have — no idea actually. I'm quite flexible, but can't do certain things, like lotus or frog position. And I also had some problems with my hips when I was born (my parents were told I wouldn't be able to walk). I walk just fine, have done olympic lifting in the past, now just go to the gym. But the problem with my posture when squatting is persistent. Whatever I do, I always end up turning my knees inwards, which is not right. I've tried everything, but the normal position my knees should be in just doesn't feel right, it's very uncomfortable in my hips even if I'm just squatting with my bodyweight.

Strong urge to try it after u said not to do it lol in can do it but I’m not hypermobile. I do remember when I was younger I fell into the splits while on a bouncy castle and I was able to do the splits after that. I can’t anymore since I stopped I’d have to train to do it like everyone else but yea, I probably fucked my hip joint up or something, I can pop it out kinda for fun 🤷‍♂️
