I don't know where I heard this peice of advice... maybe I saw it somewhere, but when I can't stop my mind from overthinking, worrying, and causing anxiety, I use the technique called "grounding". I don't know if this method is legitimate or if it is made up, but I just list off everything I can hear while trying to relax and fall asleep (like breathing, heart beat, music, fan, the heat coming through the vents, cars, train, etc), then I move on to what can I feel (my bed sheets, my clothes, my pillow, where things are touching my skin, etc), and then I open my eyes and list off everything I can see (like my wall, lamp, bed sheets, curtains), and then I repeat it all over until I stop thinking about what was causing me to overthink or until my eyes can't open anymore and I start to drift off to sleep. Has been working like a charm as of late. I hope you all are able to relax and have a good sleep or nap. 💜💤😴✨🛏

Like remove any blockages or lack of self love that could be in the way.
